IOW Chinese Carnival 30th April to 5th May 2007
Chinese composer Jiang Li worked with children Nine Acres Primary School and Arreton Primary School to create Chinese music to perform at the festival on the 5th of May.
More than 250 people decked out in colourful Chinese costumes including youngsters from Island schools and community groups took part in a Chinese style parade and showcased their Chinese dance and music performances. The parade celebrated the launch of the Island’s ninth annual walking festival.
