Holy Trinity Girls School

One day of Chinese cultural workshops for mixed year groups (year 7 to year 10). There were about 35 girls in each group and 4 workshops throughout the day. A total of 140 pupils benefited from the workshops.

Lead by workshop leader and composer Jiang Li, there were two topics including an introduction to Chinese culture, Chinese calligraphy and Chinese traditional music.

This workshop is part of the school’s Fairtrade International event. Through the Chinese culture workshop, pupils have a better understanding of Chinese culture.

For most of the girls, this was the first time that they had seen many of the instruments from China.  They particularly enjoyed the hands-on experience on the traditional instruments.
