Day time activity
6th of July is also International Children’s Day. There was a selection of Chinese cultural workshops.

Throughout the day, 4500 Children from all over North Wales celebrated the ancient cultures and customs of China.

In the Pavilion and on the satellite stages around the site young people learnt about Chinese acrobatics, martial arts, dance, and ritual Chinese Opera through workshops, demonstrations and master classes.

In addition there were chances to learn traditional Chinese crafts such as kite making, lantern making and calligraphy.

The Welsh and Chinese dragons finally meet in Llangollen! The grand town parade took place in the late afternoon with the Chinese Dragon.
