NOVEMBER 2002 Funded by Birmingham Music service, our artists worked with schools to set up a suitable programme with the aim to take part in the festival. The Festival took place at the Drum in Birmingham. We presented a Chinese opera performance for at the festival. |

MARCH 2003 Working with the Jazz band from Nine Stiles High School in Birmingham, Jiang Li wrote a Jazz piece based on a Chinese traditional tune for the Big band and Erhu, The Chinese Violin was performed by Wang Shuhong. It was a successful first time combination of Jazz Big Band and Chinese traditional music. |
